For five year Coyote and her dad, Rodeo, have lived their life on the open road. Making their way back and forth across the country since the death of Coyote’s mom and sisters. When Coyote discovers a treasured keepsake is due to be destroyed, she becomes determined to find her way back to their home. There is only one problem, she has to get back without Rodeo knowing it is happening.
The Remarkable Journey of Coyote Sunrise is one of those middle grade books that I think all adults should read. A wonderful story of a daughter/father pair navigating life together. Coping with grief. Helping others along their way.
I laughed. I cried.
This one is worth a read my friend.
